I have a peer, but I didn't pick a Pelican to learn to become a Pelican, as it were? It was more to have a backup (you've met me, I'm tiny and my peer is well over six and a half feet tall and four feet broad) in case someone gets snarky or inappropriate. That sort of thing happens when people drink.

I wanted to serve the kingdom, and learn better to serve the kingdom and I have Thoughts on swearing/affirming fealty and that sort of thing and fortunately I was not required to be in fealty to my peer to do so.
