Well, it would actually be a *light* thing in a Byzantine church. :-)It looks way better when lit - then it glows because the glass reflects the flame. Islamic glass hanging lamps were compared with God, the one light glowing in the darkness...

Heh...I guess I usually think of Byzantine churches as dark, although I've been in enough Greek Orthodox worship places to know that precious metals are often involved, and that can be light.../end rambling

The Polycandelon is beautiful. I especially like the quality of the glass.

And I came out as Sanguine. Woot! Sanguinity was something to be desired, if I remember Eldred's class on the four humors. Not a very interesting test, though. Ah well.
