Afghans for Afghans has a cool name, and if, like me, you knit constantly, you should send them stuff.

At the moment I am yearning for a subscription to Piecework magazine. Also, they apparently pay $100/ page for articles, if any of you has an insane needlework project . . .

Ur...my mom has a counted cross-stitch project she has been working on for 24 years now...And to think she planned on finishing it in time to hang in my nursery after I was born...:)
