That was delightful! And it's amusing to contemplate how she turned that into something suitable for a university application!

I think the utterly mundane "I want to be a mechanical engineer because I'm curious about airflow" is actually a very good application thesis, but I feel like most teenagers aren't well placed to understand why it's good!
