I've been working my way through Mass Effect 2, and growing more and more irritated at the fact that my female party members consist of a woman with psychic powers who wears heels on combat missions, a woman with psychic powers who doesn't wear a shirt on combat missions, an alien with psychic powers & spherical boobs who wears heels on combat missions, and an alien whose species (as far as I can tell) naturally walks on its tippy-toes at all times. I pine for Ashley Williams, with her combat armor and her big gun.

Okay, so you're describing Miranda, Jack, Samara and Tali.

Eventually Jack can put on a shirt, though. Once you're done with her loyalty mission you can make her put on a shirt in the 'Squad Status' page on your Private Terminal. Let me tell you, that was the first loyalty mission I did.

Apparently there is also downloadable content which gives Jack a jacket? *sigh*

I do have to admit, of all the female characters in Mass Effect 2, I like Tali the best. She's just so danged useful! She's got the combat drone, she's good with a shotgun and she's got a decent costume that doesn't make me think she's a skanky ho-bag.
I enjoyed her recruitment mission with Kal'Reegar. I kept thinking, 'Sure would be nice if we had some grenades!' every time he shot the Colossus. I used Tali more than anybody else in that game - except for Grunt. I used Grunt a lot.

I love Joker's new dialogue options, though. He's turned into my post-mission advisor.
