I brought Gennoveus home this evening! He is approximately two years old, purrs very loudly, and has a name taken from an inscription found in early medieval Brittany (in one of hrj's articles).

I see he's already performing the sacred duty of black cats: laying on light-colored fabrics and presumably claiming them as his own.

He is adorable.
