I've finished the knighting scroll I've been working on for . . . about nine months now. Or rather, picking up at each major school holiday for nine months. The entire process has left me with an unfamiliar level of artistic insecurity. I'm just hoping that my research skills will distract from my failings as a painter. (For the curious, I've posted images of art and text; I imitated the style of a late Roman manuscript of Vergil which may be found here.)
