I thought about getting a pet lizard for a while, but I just wasn't enthusiastic enough about the crickets . . . And now, of course, if I had a lizard Jerome would try to eat it.

Cats like eating crickets too. I used to get them every now and again to keep them happy. It seemed so much more appropriate than getting them high with catnip.

Yea, but now that glasseye is vegatarian you don't see too much of that anymore.

I took care of a neighbors gecko for a few weeks once, it's really quite easy. You just drop a cricket or two into the tank and walk away.

Of course, doing so every day would become a bit tiresome.

Besides, if we had a gecko now, Jerome would try to eat it and the crickets.
