But I meant redraw some other stuff so I can turn my imprese handout into an article without engaging in blatant copyright violation. (In the massive free time we all have . . . )
Hmm. I would have offered to do a block print for you because it would be fun. But why can't you do the re-drawing? I seem to recall you being totally capable of it... :-) So on a side note, should you want to do another I will make a block print for you. In all of my copious free time. :-)
Oh also, your handout shouldn't have copyright problems if your aren't selling it and are not taking entire books - educational fair use is alive and well, especially as you are not an accredited university and are doing this for a non profit organization. At any rate that is how I justify all of the pics of glass I use in my handouts. We had a lawyer come talk to my studio art seminar class about this sort of stuff and you should be just fine. :-) Now all of the pictures I took of objects in my museum while in DC that Suze is putting up on the website are another issue, but I doubt they will ever be seen by the museum. And I was working for rights and reproductions too, how entertaining...
