Actually, all the crazy evil people running for Sierra Club Board are anti-immigration Democrats, as far as I can tell.

I don't think the Sierra Club is terribly relevant, anyway.
But maybe I am just not up on things.

I would be happier if environmental activist groups in general were more effective; as these things go, the Sierra Club does pretty well.

They won't be effective until they start from the bottom instead of the top.

They are too hung up on words and ideas, but we have to start enviromental consciousnesss from the bottom, improving conservation by physically DOING things.

You can, but until the big issue is solved, all the enviromental groups do is rope off some pretty scenery.
